Re-upholstery, Leigh-on-sea

Brief

We were contracted to give new life to an old bergere suite and update the lounge.

Solution

We met with the client to discuss the design of the room and how the suite could compliment it. A striking combination of fabrics were chosen, to make the upholstery the focal point of the room.

Process

Firstly, we stripped the old fabric and stuffing off the site, then cleaned and re-waxed the frame. It was then sent to our upholsterer to work his magic. In parallel, a new fireplace was being fitted, new wallpaper hung, and new curtains made.

Installation

The team delivered the refurbished sofas and hung the curtains, with new lighting, tables, and a console being added to the room.

Results

A room was transformed, with the client being particularly elated with the suite and expressed that it was difficult to believe it was the same one. The room is now a lovely place in which to relax and unwind.
